American Girl Doll Clothes - Traditional

Our adorable Dorothy of Oz outfit is sure to please you and your 18 inch dolls! Here's our Molly, wearing an imported pinafore of tiny blue checks over a white puffed sleeve blouse. The pinafore is accented with shoulder ruffles and pockets on her full skirt - both are trimmed with tiny white cotton lace. The waistband closes in back with velcro; the skirt is open so we've added a pair of white panties for modesty! Her blouse has a peter pan collar and closes in back with velcro.
Please notice the blue checked hair ribbons and the tiny brown puppy she is holding - they come with her costume.

To properly complete her outfit, add the blue anklets, the ruby red glitter shoes AND Toto, the eight inch plush dog shown!

These are the prettiest fairy costumes for both dolls and girls! The scooped top is "velvet" and closes in back with velcro. The skirt is full and layered in petals for a very fairy look. Each Fairy has two layers of organza petals over a poly-silk petticoat. The top layer of shorter petals is irridescent pink for the Pink Fairy and silver for our "Tinkerbell". Each comes with a coordinating ribbon headband with petals to complete her costume.

These two dolls are ready to dress up for a visit to Disney World or Disneyland! The Snow White costume on the left features a navy "velvet" bodice with deep red "velvet" puffed sleeves; silver braid trims the waistline above the long yellow skirt of poly-silk. The dress closes in back with velcro; imported. For extra fun she has a red sequin "cape" to tie at her neck. Outfit is imported (and includes a red hair ribbon our model forgot!). Elizabeth on the right loves pretending to be Cinderella in a lovely floor length gown of pale blue. The bodice is pale blue "velvet" accented with silver braid. Her white puffed sleeves match the elegant paniers at her waist. The full pale blue skirt is poly-silk. The dress closes in back with velcro; imported. This costume includes a black ribbon for her neck and a blue hair ribbon. We completed it by adding silver flats and you can too.

This American Girl Doll is just like Sandy in "Grease" with her new costume! She's wearing a black lined "motorcycle" jacket over a pink skirt with an adorable poodle on it. The jacket buttons up the front; the skirt closes in back with velcro. You can probably see her tulle petticoat peeking out at the hem. This imported costume includes the sheer scarf - perfect for around her neck or on her ponytail as Marisol likes it.

To add an authentic touch, we've added the cuffed anklets and the black and white saddle shoes. She's ready to dance at the Hop!

American Girl and other 18 inch dolls are ready for the rodeo in this cute outfit! The red checked top has the regulation long sleeves with white collar and cuffs plus fun white fringe in the front. The shirt tucks into her dark denim skort - perfect for riding (or play!). The skort has an elastic waist; the shirt closes in back with velcro. Both were made in the USA. Of course, no cowgirl (or line dancer) is complete without her red boots, so we have them available for you to add to her outfit. And remember her dark brown western hat . . . Ride 'em Cowgirl!

Our model on the left is wearing a lovely pink satin Cheongsam - notice the mandarin collar and the slanted front opening that closes with braided "frogs". Her dress also has a hidden side zipper (for easy on & off) and the classic splits up the sides to allow movement. The pink satin slippers are included. Outfit is imported.

Chinese New Year's is coming and time to Celebrate! Our doll model Ivy, on the left, is wearing a long silky black skirt that fastens on the side with velcro. Over it is the included Chionese red brocade top complete with a gold design and side "frog" buttons; imported. (It comes with black hair-sticks but she decided on a gold haircomb today.) Ivy added gold clogs and a white plastic fan (you can too) resulting in a very lovely look!

Julie, our doll model on the right, is ready to celebrate too and has dressed the part in a turquoise Mandarin dress bound in aqua down to the slits at the hemline! It closes with a tiny side zipper and matching frog buttons. Because the butterfly embroidery is accented in copper, we added the copper shoes and big copper handbag for fun. Imported. The stuffed monkey she is carrying is a gift for Ivy's little sister who was born in the Year of the Monkey!

Additional Information: Chinese New Year is an important Chinese holiday and on a special Chinese calendar (similar to the Easter and Jewish holidays being on a lunar calendar) so they do not start on January 1st; every year has a special symbol. In 1974 it was the Year of the Tiger; 2008 is the Year of the Rat. The Chinese New Year's Celebration lasts 15 days.

Inspired by the Ballet Folklorico de Mexico dance costume representing Jalisco (and Marisol!), this gorgeous dress has a white blouse trimed in gold attached to a very full skirt trimmed in black braid and embroidery. Notice the top of the skirt is cheerful yellow, the remainder bright red. Underneath is an attached white circular petticoat with lace ruffles - perfect! The bodice closes in back with velcro; costume made in the USA. A wide red satin ribbon is enclosed for her hair. Add her black "velvet" dance shoes and the burro pinata for a finishing touch. She'll definitely feel like dancing in this dress!

Kirsten looks so pretty in her white summer dress! The tiny purple dots go nicely with the contrast purple waistband and neckline. Kirsten especially loves the stylish ruffles . . . three band the skirt and two trim the short sleeves. The dress closes in back with velcro. A little bunch of flowers and a purple hair ribbon is included. This replica of a Kirsten dress, is made in the USA.
