Traditional Doll Clothes for American Girl^® Dolls

Our two Colonial girls are wearing very special print dresses! Elizabeth on the left is wearing a coral pink dress with ruffled eyelet lace cuffs on her elbow length sleeves. Her full length skirt is gathered from the waistline that forms a point in the center (very fashionable!). The lined bodice is accented with braid at the scooped neckline - the braid is echoed on her sleeves too. The back closes with velcro. A sheer white hairbow is included; dress made in the USA. The best part is that there is a matching dress for girls too - Wonderful!

Felicity on the right is modeling a blue striped colonial dress that is also printed with tiny posies! Her scooped neck and her elbow length sleeves are trimmed in ruffled blue lace topped with tiny pink rosebud braid. The bodice is lined and closes in back with velcro. Her gathered long skirt is quite full; dress made in the USA. Felicity is also wearing her red wool cape - it has an attached hood and ties under her chin with a satin ribbon. Just the thing for cool spring days!

Both girls are wearing plain patent shoes - your choice of white or black. The white fan Elizabeth is holding is perfect for a colonial young lady . . .

Our Felicity doll model is delighted to wear this colonial lilac replica dress! (It's new to her as she came in a different dress). The dress features white stripes on lilac with an overlay of red flowers. The short sleeves, square neckline and full skirt with three tucks all add to the charm. The imported dress closes in back with velcro. We'll include a lilac hair ribbon.
To complete the outfit she selected plain black patent shoes ; the puppy, Cocoa, decided to come on it's own!

Learning how to serve tea correctly was very important in Colonial times and our Elizabeth doll model is determined to do it right! She's wearing a lovely light blue gown with lace ruffles at the sleeves. A pretty sheer apron is attached and a detached white collar with a rose is included. This replica outfit comes with the pretty white cap and her blue satin slippers. The imported dress closes in back with velcro.

This is a wonderful imported replica of the dress Felicity dolls, like our model, wore originally ! The scooped neck has a white ruffle that echoes the one on her elbow length sleeves - which have a self ruffle too. The bodice is curved below her waistline and ends in the long gathered skirt. Roses and stripes make up the traditional colonial print. Her bodice closes in back with velcro.
The pretty lace cap to cover her hair is included. To complete her ensemble, you can add her colonial shoes with the center buckles!

This is a lovely Colonial gown that Felicity, Elizabeth or any American Girl doll would love to wear! The pink shantung-type cotton dress is trimmed with white braid down the sides and on the elbow length sleeves. Attached to the dress is an inset of pink and white stripes from the bodice to the hemline; over it is an attached white eyelet apron. The dress closes in back with velcro. White ruffles also edge the sleeves and a burgundy bow is at the lowered neckline. A matching bow can be seen on her white cap that's included! Imported
To complete the outfit we added the black colonial shoes with the buckle. Felicity is demonstrating the Noah's Ark that is a special toy in their family - it is retired from American Girl and includes the Ark in addition to tiny animals!

Harvest time is also a great time for visiting . . . or so our 1800's doll models tell us! Our Josefina is wearing a new imported print dress in an empire design. It is sleeveless with a full skirt attached at the high waistline. The skirt hem is trimmed with two rows of tucks and lace edging. Over her dress she wears a Spencer Jacket in black. It's waist length with long sleeves and closes in front with velcro hidden under the buttons; included.
We'll add a pink hair ribbon to bring out the pink flowers on her dress - you can add her black and brown boots and maybe the velvet purse. The wonderful velvet pumpkin is perfect for an autumn harvest party!

This is a wonderful 1800's ensemble for your 18 inch doll that includes two complete looks! Kirsten on the right is wearing the muted floral dress with a contrasting brown checked sunbonnet tied under her chin. The dress has a sweet collar edged in white tatting; the long sleeves end in cuffs trimmed with the same tatting. Her dress closes in back with velcro.
Our doll model, Addy, is wearing the same dress but she added a tan pinafore that has contrast embroidery on the bodice and buttons in front (they hide the velcro underneath). A charming imported three piece ensemble!

You might like to add our white muslin pantaloons with white eyelet lace . . . or maybe the white or brown boots for a complete picture!

Addy feels like Spring dressed in this pretty peach and gold striped dress! Other 18 inch dolls will like it too - especially with the pretty ruffles around the full skirt in gold checks . . . her collar, waistband and sleeve cuffs are in gold checks too. The turquoise binding on the sleeves is a fun accent and matches her turquoise hair ribbon! The dress closes in back with velcro.
We added white pantaloons with eyelet lace trim, white knee socks and white prairie boots to complete her ensemble - and you can too!

Our Kirsten doll model is so happy to be wearing her new dress with coordinating sunbonnet! The dress is an all-over tiny calico floral print of light lilac on a pretty lavender. It has fashionable dropped shoulders ending in long sleeves; white piping accents the neckline. Her bodice is lined and closes in back with velcro. The full gathered skirt is attached to a self-waistband and ends in a "growing tuck" at the hem.
The lined pale lilac print sunbonnet is included; it ties under her chin with white grosgrain ribbons so it can protect her face from the sun. We added her two-tone brown boots and you can too.

Kirsten looks right at home in her traditional Swedish costume! It consists of three pieces - the white blouse with a big lace ruffle at the neckline and at the elbow lenth sleeves is worn under the dress with its attached eyelet apron. The bodice is a red print trimmed with braid; it closes in back with velcro. The full skirt is black wool for warmth. The red print hat she wears matches the bodice and ties under her chin. We added the lace up black boots to finish her authentic look and you can too!

She's as pretty as a picture in her replica Kirsten Birthday Dress! Her pink checked dress has a full gathered skirt and puffed sleeves trimmed with white rickrack. Over her dress she's wearing a pretty white apron also trimmed with white rickrack especially on the hem edges that curve up in back. The dress and her apron close in back with velcro; imported. To make this truly special, pink hair ribbons and the daisy wreath are included!
We added her white lace-up boots; she insisted on adding Quackers and Bunnykin to the picture!

This print dress is perfect for Addy and for Kirsten - it's a style both would like! The dress has black ribbon accents, shoulder ruffles, long sleeves and a full skirt edged in white lace. Rebecca saw this lovely dress on a customer in her father's shoe store - and she wished she had one like it! The silky imported dress has a tone on tone design in fashionable mauve. The dress has a dropped waist, a full gathered skirt and puffed sleeves. Rebecca especially likes the tiny ruffles on each side of the flower buttons in front. It comes with the "natural straw" hat that is trimmed with a matching mauve bow!

We think our Rebecca doll is dressed in the perfect outfit for her day! The white middy dress has navy ribbon accents on the sailor collar and the cuffs of her short puffed sleeves. Notice the navy tie knotted at the center. The long bodice closes in back with snaps ends in a perfectly pleated skirt.
Also included in the imported outfit is her sailor hat with more navy ribbon and the white socks and mary janes (check out the anchor on the shoes!) We couldn't resist adding the cat with the lilac hat!

Our lovely doll model, Rebecca, had fun at the Renaissance Fair this summer and now can wear her gown for Halloween! The long dress is lilac and gold brocade and features long white cuffs on the sleeves with matching white at the square neckline. A special gold braid edges the neckline and the waistline. Under her skirt is an attached crinoline petticoat. The imported dress closes in back with snaps.

Our American Girl doll model Kit, looks precious in this pink and orange plaid dress! This is a very special long gown of white cotton lace trimmed with rows of white velvet ribbon! The imported gown has cap sleeves, a full length taffeta slip lining and a full skirt. The dress closes in back with snaps; the taffeta slip has attached crinoline ruffles to puff out the skirt!
