American Girl Doll Clothes - Traditional

Our two Colonial girls are wearing very special print dresses! Elizabeth on the left is wearing a coral pink dress with ruffled eyelet lace cuffs on her elbow length sleeves. Her full length skirt is gathered from the waistline that forms a point in the center (very fashionable!). The lined bodice is accented with braid at the scooped neckline - the braid is echoed on her sleeves too. The back closes with velcro. A sheer white hairbow is included; dress made in the USA. The best part is that there is a matching dress for girls too - Wonderful!

Felicity on the right is modeling a blue striped colonial dress that is also printed with tiny posies! Her scooped neck and her elbow length sleeves are trimmed in ruffled blue lace topped with tiny pink rosebud braid. The bodice is lined and closes in back with velcro. Her gathered long skirt is quite full; dress made in the USA. Felicity is also wearing her red wool cape - it has an attached hood and ties under her chin with a satin ribbon. Just the thing for cool spring days!

Both girls are wearing plain patent shoes - your choice of white or black. The white fan Elizabeth is holding is perfect for a colonial young lady . . .

Elizabeth looks so grown-up and pretty in her blue print gown with purse and cap! The cotton dress is two pieces - a full print skirt that fastens around her waist with velcro and a top with panier skirt and elbow length sleeves trimmed with a white ruffle. Notice the navy bows on her bodice and all the navy braid trim - very stylish. The dress closes with velcro in back. The white and blue drawstring bag and her white cap are included ! Imported.

Learning how to serve tea correctly was very important in Colonial times and our Elizabeth doll model is determined to do it right! She's wearing a lovely light blue gown with lace ruffles at the sleeves. A pretty sheer apron is attached and a detached white collar with a rose is included. This replica outfit comes with the pretty white cap and her blue satin slippers. The imported dress closes in back with velcro.

Here's an adorable Pioneer lilac print calico dress with lilac checked sunbonnet - perfect for Kirsten or any other 18" doll on the frontier! The skirt is full with a "growing tuck" at the hem (of course); the dropped shoulders end in long full sleeves. The lined bodice is accented by the attached self belt. The back closes with velcro. The sunbonnet is fully lined and big enough to do it's job of protecting her face from the hot sun! It ties under the chin with grograin ribbon; outfit made in the USA. Wonderful!
Perhaps she also needs a pair of ankle length white muslin pantaloons trimmed with eyelet or a new pair of tie ankle boots? We have them here!

This is a wonderful 1800's ensemble for your 18 inch doll that includes two complete looks! Kirsten on the right is wearing the muted floral dress with a contrasting brown checked sunbonnet tied under her chin. The dress has a sweet collar edged in white tatting; the long sleeves end in cuffs trimmed with the same tatting. Her dress closes in back with velcro.
Our doll model, Addy, is wearing the same dress but she added a tan pinafore that has contrast embroidery on the bodice and buttons in front (they hide the velcro underneath). A charming imported three piece ensemble!

You might like to add our white muslin pantaloons with white eyelet lace . . . or maybe the white or brown boots for a complete picture!

Kirsten looks right at home in her traditional Swedish costume! It consists of three pieces - the white blouse with a big lace ruffle at the neckline and at the elbow lenth sleeves is worn under the dress with its attached eyelet apron. The bodice is a red print trimmed with braid; it closes in back with velcro. The full skirt is black wool for warmth. The red print hat she wears matches the bodice and ties under her chin. We added the lace up black boots to finish her authentic look and you can too!

Our doll model Kirsten looks ready to bake in her cute Swedish style outfit! Her blue dress is printed with cheerful daisies; the long sleeves are a very fashionable style. The white apron is included with this imported outfit; it is printed on the bib with a special design while the skirt has a pretty pink braid. The apron and the dress close in back with velcro. We'll include the blue ribbons for her hair.
We added the red striped socks and the red Swedish Dala clogs (notice the horse design on them!) and you can too. Kirsten is proud to show off her pan of cookies . . . you can select a pan with either attached Christmas Trees or attached Snowman Faces!

Our Kirsten doll model is bundled up to face the cold snow near her prairie home! Her special lined fleece coat has woven red stripes at the hem, on her long sleeves and on her hood. (Think maybe her mother wove the material?) This coat is a replica of a 1997 Special Edition Outdoor outfit; it closes in the front with loops over horn shaped buttons. The hood is attached. For extra warmth, the red knit scarf (with a heart at one end) is included!

A trip into the snow requires snowshoes like the ones our model is wearing. . . and add laced boots in either red or black - your choice!

Kirsten and other 18 inch dolls need to dress for the winter in outfits like this one! First she has a white long sleeved blouse (with lace edging and a "brooch") and a warm patterned vest in gold and black. It has lacing in the front but actually closes in back with velcro. Her full black skirt is wool in soft pleats - perfect to ward off winter breezes. The gold and black border at the hem is especially good looking.
To complete this winter ensemble we're adding gold and white braid for her hair . . . you can add the black lace-up boots to keep her toes warm. She's all set!

This print dress is perfect for Addy and for Kirsten - it's a style both would like! The dress has black ribbon accents, shoulder ruffles, long sleeves and a full skirt edged in white lace. Samantha is wearing a new dress in honor of Nellie's birthday on October 14th! (The Teddy Bear is Fritz - a surprise for Nellie.) Samantha's dark red plaid dress is perfect with the pleats in front and back. The white and navy cuffs on the long puffed sleeves match her collar; a navy grograin belt accents the lowered waist. Her dress closes in back with velcro; made in the USA. A navy sheer hairbow is included.

We just couldn't resist dressing our Samantha and Nellie doll models in these wonderful Samantha outfits! Looks like Samantha got back from school first and is still dressed in her imported gray flannel uniform. Spring dresses for our two Victorian friends are just lovely - and perfect for Valentine's Day! Samantha on the right is wearing an imported print replica dress. The white dress has scattered pink rosebuds; pink is repeated with piping on her low waisted belt, collar and bodice insert. Her dress closes in back with velcro. What fun to have Nellie visit the Shoe Shop owned by Rebecca's father - while Rebecca was helping! Our doll model, Nellie, is wearing a replica of her dark gray wool winter coat and matching hat. The capelet is trimmed in faux ermine and ties under her coat collar for extra warmth. Her coat is double breasted with white buttons but actually closes with hidden snaps. A pair of red knit mittens comes with the coat!
Nellie is wearing white tights and black high button shoes on her shopping trip - you can add them too.

On the right is our Rebecca model wearing a wonderful new red and black dress (she thinks it's perfect for Valentine's Day) while she helps her father. The dress has a black yoke inset and a black border on the full pleated skirt. Her long sleeves have black cuffs - plus some of the special striped trim. Tiny black buttons trim the yoke and march down the bodice back over the velcro close. We added a white hairbow to complete her special look.

Our Rebecca doll model feels like a movie star in this wonderful outfit! The three tiered plaid skirt is gathered onto the navy "velvet" bodice that is accented with a scalloped white satin collar. The long navy sleeves end in matching white satin cuffs; the bodice closes in back with snaps.

We think our Rebecca doll is dressed in the perfect outfit for her day! The white middy dress has navy ribbon accents on the sailor collar and the cuffs of her short puffed sleeves. It may be cold outside but Kit and Ruthie, our 18 inch doll models, ready to walk Ruthie's new dog, Yippy! She's on the left in an imported wool plaid skirt outfit. The four pieces include the unpressed pleated skirt, the red sleeveless shirt (it goes on over her head), the plaid adjustable cap plus the coordinating navy jacket. Notice that the plaid accents on her collar, cuffs and pockets are the same as her skirt and cap. The jacket zips up in front and is sure to keep her warm. There's time for friends to be together even in the winter! Ruthie, on the right, brought along her new coloring set. She is wearing a Nordic style navy sweater over a full navy cord skirt. These two friends are together for a treat . . . maybe the movies! Our doll model, Molly, is very pleased with her new red corduroy jumper! She especially like the coordinating print blouse that comes with it . . . and the three flower appliques on the jumper front. Our 1940's nurse (Kristen in our photo) is wearing a long sleeved white uniform complete with collar, two pockets and a self belt. A center placket runs down the lined bodice onto the flared skirt. The little white cap with the black ribbon stripe is precious! To keep her warm, there's a red cape fully lined in navy. The cape neckband and the uniform back close with velcro. It's time to keep warm and do we have some great picks for your dolls! Our doll model Nellie, on the far right, looks just adorable in her new pink coat and hat set - both trimmed with black velvet bows. Notice the wide cape detail and the black velvet-covered buttons. The coat closes in front with velcro under the buttons; imported. We added Nellie's black tights and high button boots to keep her feet warm too!

Sitting in the center is own jointed Engel doll model wearing a classic tan trench coat. It's double breasted (with velcro underneath) and belted. The sleeve cuffs show off the pink print coururoy lining that will keep her warm. We added her fuschia hat and mittens plus the hot pink loafers. Too cute!

This lovely organza, taffeta and lace confection is perfect for her 18 inch doll to commemorate her First Communion! The dress is made in the USA of white organza over white taffeta.
