Retired 1900 Bathing Costume (For 18 inch Dolls)

It's time for bathing (girls did not swim in the 1900's!) and our Nellie doll model is ready in her stylish bathing dress! This retired American Girl outfit is four pieces in navy and white. The top is solid navy with a polka dot collar and cuffs on the puffed sleeves; it is attached to the navy bloomers and closes in back with velcro. (Did you notice the cute little white button trim in front?) The gathered skirt with the dotted waistband snaps around her waist. Her white hat is trimmed with more dots . . . just like her soft shoes. We added her black tights for authenticity and the sand pail for fun!
