Madame Alexander contributed to America's 1976 Bicentennial by introducing the First Ladies Doll Collection to honor the women who helped shape our country, dressing each doll in reproductions of inaugral ball gowns. This series is re-introduced with reproductions of three of America's most beloved First Ladies.

Dolly Madison, the First Lady to reside in the present White House, is wearing a lovely turquoise satin gown! Sheer ruffles trim her sleeves and empire styled bodice. Deep red accents are featured at the hem and waist plus swirled in her dark brown hair. The fan and a biography card are included!

Madame Alexander Dolls are perfect for gifts for ages of 4 years and up. Each doll has blue eyes that open and close, a lovely hairdo and an 8 inch vinyl body dressed in a removable outfit with shoes.
