New American Girl Items on DollCloset.com
Everyone has been talking about Ruthie, Kit's friend in the books, the film (as played by Madison Davenport) and the doll coming out in May or June! What will she look like??
The picture above is the cover of Ruthie's book, "Really, Truly Ruthie" so that should give us an idea . . . plus check out the Kit movie preview (starring Abigail Breslin as Kit) at www.americangirl.com to see Ruthie. The doll should look just about the same - very pretty!! We will have the book but it won't be released until May 2008 . . .
In the meantime we have some brand new American Girl Frame Puzzles ie three different puzzle pictures of the same American Girl, all in one box. Each puzzle has 50 pieces AND can be placed into a frame (included) so that you can hang your creation on a wall or display on a desk or bookcase. The perfect way to have fun and to decorate with American Girl dolls!
The picture above shows the Addy Frame Puzzle . . . it's on sale along with all other Addy items (books, paper doll) to help celebrate Black History Month this February.
We also have Felicity Frame Puzzles,
and Julie Frame Puzzles!
We're expecting Frame Puzzles for Molly, Kit, Kirsten, Josefina and Kaya in June.
The new Kit Mystery book, "A Thief in the Theater", will be arriving later this month - here's what the cover looks like and what we know so far:
"It's 1935 and Kit Kittredge is volunteering backstage for a local theater company. She plans to write an exciting newspaper article about a new play that stars famous actors from New York City. But behind the scenes, Kit and her friend Stirling discover more drama than they bargained for!"
We'll let you know when the book arrives - it sounds exciting!

i wish Madison (sara) would tell us some more info! but on the interview she said "i have a lot of people asking me things about ruthie, and i really want to tell them, but i cant!". i heard the interview a few days ago... this website is formed talking about madison's interviews!

Found out lots about Ruthie doll! She'll have reddish brown hair, brown eyes, Julie face mold, a purple headband and a purple trimmed yellow dress with pink pansies on it. This info was on a top secret website! I think it's true.

wow , haylee, you and ur neighbor have ruthie?! you guys must be so happy! i dont have her yet, since she is still in the making. But i will by the time the movie comes out. I think it is an amaxing experience to pose for the doll photo! they were lookign at me and stuff to make the doll sorta accurate. it was weird... lol. i have to go now, but bye! (P.S. its cold here!)

I think you guys should know that the REAL Alexandra doesn't have Ruthie or anything. Alexandra's ex-friend has been posing as her. She just found it out and she'll probably comment here about it. That means maybe a holocost doll could come out.

No I did not. Maybe it was a joke? A prank? I dunno, but I know a lot of people are posing as actresses just to get attention. So she probably was just trying to fool you! I havent been on any websites/doll blogs accept this one, so if another Madison Davenport springs up, it is most likely not me!

Hey, Madison, Alex here. I'm auditioning for a talent agency (Shirley Grant- home of the JOE BROS LOL!!!), and was wondering if you have any tips on creating a good application. I've done theater and blah blah blah, but I just don't know how to make it seem interesting. You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but if you did, it would be wonderful!

Well. I do have a little advice.
When making it don’t make it ALL about how great you are, but how well you act, sing, dance, write, whatever it is you do! Use lots of words, the wordier the better, I have learned! My mom and dad usually help me a lot, so your mom/dad/grandparent/teacher is the best person to ask when you need help!
Remember, if you don’t get in, try again! Never give up! That’s the advice that my teacher gave me. AND NEVER take what they think personally. It’s not that you’re not good enough; it’s for many reasons that I have no idea why they have them! Lol!
Be sure to let us all know how you do, and good luck again!
Remember to ask for help if you need, and even if you don’t! You may think it’s absolutely perfect, then you ask your teacher to read it and WOW it had a lot to change!
But this is only my opinion and don’t feel pressured to do what I say – trust yourself to make decisions (which is the total opposite of what I was saying before, haha!).
Just one more thing. BE YOU! Make the application 100% YOU! And that way no one can want and/or not want you for being something you’re not!

Okay, here's the deal. People that have been saying stuff about the following : Ruthie and "Jackie", are obviously mistaken. Nobody has the Ruthie Smithens doll yet. She hasn't even gone on pre-order yet! And whoever said the thing about not producing a Jackie doll because of the other blind girl is right. They would never, EVER copy the story of another AG doll. The people that have posted these things about these dolls are obviously just wishful thinkers. I wish I knew about the dolls, but I have no insider information. So, there you go! And then there's the "Madison". Her name says "Jane" at the top of her post. Millie was just being polite and not calling any of the li-....wishful thinkers out.

1. Yes, we know that there is no insider info - as has been written and posted several times by several people. It's way to early - just dreams and rumors!
2. Yes, if Madison say she and Abigail have the Ruthie doll, I believe her (Before soneone else said she did but that was disproved ages ago)
I know that the new dolls are given to the cast members way before they are released . . . that's how I got my Nellie doll (before everyone else) on eBay from one of the people who was in the TV film production
3. Yes, I believe we are hearing from Madison - and we have been for quite some time (before last summer) Usually her posts say they are from Sara - her email name.
Take it easy and enjoy sharing the love for American Girl dolls and stories with others please.
